Can all those going on the church weekend in September please make sure you get a letter from Elizabeth Stanbridge. NB for those who already have a letter – one change – no need to bring sheets as all bedding now provided.
ADVANCE NOTICE for your diary: On Friday 19th September Wendy Thomas is planning to host one of the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Mornings’ at home in support of families with cancer. This will be a week prior to the national event which clashes with to the Church Family Away Weekend. More later.
There will be a planning meeting for all involved in the new older youth club on 27th August at 7.30pm at 42 Shap Road.
The meeting to plan the next alternative worship will be on Wednesday 27th August at 2pm at 42 Shap Road. The theme of the service is ‘A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF A TREE - Seeing our lives and relationship with God, through the changing seasons’.
Suggested preachers: Andrew Webb and Nigel Saxton will be meeting shortly to look at preachers for Sandylands for the next few months. If you have suggestions please pass them on to Andrew or Nigel.

The Kendal Circuit Barbeque and Fun afternoon will take place on Saturday 12th July, from 4pm onwards, at Kirkby Lonsdale Methodist Church.
