2010 Election Special – Prayer Event

Thursday 29th April from 7.30pm at The Shakespeare Centre, Highgate, Kendal. The General Election along with District Council Elections takes place on Thu 6th May. During this concert of prayer we will carry the focus of our intercession to Constituencies, District Councils, Cumbria and the Nation. We invite you  - congregations, fellowship groups and prayer groups of this opportunity to stand together in prayer for our district, region and nation as we approach this important election.

Wildfire is coming to Cumbria

The Roger Jones musical about Pentecost and St Stephen’s life. Saturday 15th May in Kendal URC at 4.30pm. Monday 17th May Penrith Methodist Church at 7.30pm. Tickets available on the door. Everyone invited to the conclusion of the tour at Carlisle Cathedral for ‘The Big Sing’ on Saturday 22nd May at 6.30pm. If you want to take part in ‘The Big Sing’ you should arrive at 2.30pm for rehearsals.

A day in the life of a vet

General church meeting

The General church meeting is on April 27th at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend this meeting which will be discussing the building project. We have vacancies for the church council and for church stewards, nominations must be given to Andrew by April 25th

On 24th April 10am-12noon at church. Admission 50p includes coffee and biscuits. Various stalls including home made cakes.  All welcome
