Please be advised that due to adverse weather conditions we have unfortunately decided not to hold the late night communion service tonight.

The evening service on 27th December will be led by the Sandylands Singers (formerly the Mens Forum Choir). It will be an informal, light-hearted, post-Christmas celebration. So please come and join us at 6:30pm.
On Wednesday 23rd December a group will be going carol singing in the streets close to the church. All are welcome to join us. Meet at church at 7:00pm.

Monday 21st December
6-8pm “The 12 Days of Christmas” An alternative Christmas reflection, come and go as you please, for all ages.

Catering for visitors is a really effective and ejoyable way of fundraising and we would like church members to help promote this for next year. If you have friends and relatives who are likely to visit Kendal please consider enclosing a copy of the invitation with your Christmas cards, so that they can let church and other social groups etc khow whaqt we can provide encouraging them to come to this area for a day trip or holiday.
Next year the Cumbria district going for growth day will be called “Wild about Jesus” and will be led by the Rev Steve Wild who is the chaire of the Cornwall Methodist District. It is from 10-3 on January 30th at Penrith Methodist church. Lunch will be provided and there are children’s activities run by Y kids. This should be an excellent day, please see Andrew to put your name down. Please see notice board for full details.
Friday 8th January from 6pm onwards. Shared meal together at 6.30pm (sign up on the list in the hall to indicate what sort of food you are able to bring and share) Followed by an evening of fun and games!
is an ecumenical initiative to offer sensitive, low key prayer for healing on the streets of Kendal. A pilot scheme will be running for a couple of hours on the 3 Sundays leading up to Christmas.
