Please pray for those in our congregation who are involved in caring for others.

• for those who work as part of the caring profession
• for those who are caring for friends and relatives
• for God to support them in this work of showing his love

This will take place each morning from Tues 25th - Fri 28th March. If you would be willing to help in any way please have a word with Sarah. The first meeting to begin planning will be on Friday February 1st - 10am at the manse (42 Shap Road).  All welcome, even if you can just help for a day or two (or could do things to help beforehand).

On Monday 4 February 2008 there will be an Extraordinary General Church meeting to look at plans and ideas for a building development programme. All welcome. Please also pray for God’s guidance about these plans and for a clear vision for our church.

Harrogate Conference Centre: on Saturday 15th March.  Kirkby Lonsdale Church are hoping to run a coach to this event and need at least 24 people.  They thoroughly recommend this Christian day out.  For costs and further information see poster on notice board.

The stewards are trying to limit the number of verbal notices given at services. Please can notices be passed to Elizabeth for the written notices wherever possible? (Deadline Friday Night - 6.30pm)  If there are any last minute notices please can they be given in writing - they will be dealt with at the discretion of the steward.
